INFORMATION RESOURCES IN THE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF JOINT-STOCK COMPANY COMMERCIAL BANK “PRIVATBANK”

Abstract

In the modern digital environment, information is a strategic resource that is crucial for the effective functioning of any institution, enterprise, or organization. Information provides the processes of communication, management, planning, forecasting, and decision-making, determining the technological capability, as well as the competitiveness of the institution in the market, the level of transparency of its activities, and the speed of response to environmental changes. Management processes are impossible without obtaining, processing, storing, and using reliable information, which together constitute the information resources of the organization. Today, information resources are becoming one of the key elements of effective management of institutions. That is why the issue of creating, organizing, and using information resources is gaining special importance in both the public and private sectors. A vivid example of the effective organization of information resources in the private sector is the activities of the joint-stock company of the commercial bank «PrivatBank». Digital technologies, automated data processing systems, and analytical platforms form a comprehensive information infrastructure integrated into all levels of management – from operational control to long-term planning. Such management of information flows is the basis of the stability and efficiency of the institution’s activities. It should be noted that the functioning of the banking system is impossible without effective information security mechanisms, because information is the most valuable asset of the bank. Protection of customer data, stability of operations, cryptographic protocols, continuous monitoring of cyber threats, and compliance with regulatory requirements form a comprehensive security system. Information resources of the joint-stock company of the commercial bank “PrivatBank” provide not only the technical foundation of its activities, but also determine the quality of management decisions, the level of digital services, operational efficiency, and the bank’s ability to adapt to new challenges of the financial market.
