REGULATORY AND LEGAL REGULATION IN THE SPHERE OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION OF THE PROCESSES OF FORMATION OF THE FREE TRADE AREA BETWEEN UKRAINE AND THE EU

Abstract

The article examines the features of regulatory and legal regulation in the field of public management of the processes of forming a free trade area between Ukraine and the EU. It is noted that insufficient legal certainty, institutional weakness of individual state bodies and insufficient level of implementation of European norms into national legislation create significant obstacles to the effective functioning of the free trade area. The relevance of the study is due to the need for a comprehensive analysis of regulatory and legal regulation in the field of public management of the processes of forming a free trade area between Ukraine and the EU, identification of its key shortcomings and development of recommendations for improving legal and institutional mechanisms of regulation in this area.The purpose of the article is to study the features of regulatory and legal regulation in the field of public management of the processes of forming a free trade area between Ukraine and the EU.It is determined that for the effective functioning of the free trade area between Ukraine and the EU, a number of regulatory and legal acts were adopted and adapted that regulate customs policy, technical standards, certification, trade rules and enforcement mechanisms. The main legislative acts of Ukraine regulating the functioning of the free trade zone are considered. Attention is focused on state bodies that ensure the functioning of the institutional mechanism of public administration in the field of regulating the free trade zone. Problems that complicate the full functioning of the free trade zone are investigated. Actions and measures that need to be provided to increase the efficiency of public administration in the field of the free trade zone are substantiated.The results of the study showed that further improvement of regulatory and legal regulation in the field of public administration of the processes of forming a free trade zone between Ukraine and the EU is an important prerequisite for Ukraine’s integration into the European economic space and the creation of favorable conditions for the development of domestic business. It is emphasized that further implementation of European norms will increase the competitiveness of Ukrainian goods and contribute to Ukraine’s integration into the EU common market.
