THE WORLDVIEW-FORMING POTENTIAL OF PHILOSOPHICAL KNOWLEDGE IN THE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING SYSTEM OF FUTURE SPECIALISTS IN THE FIELD OF SOCIAL WORK

Abstract

The article discusses the importance of integrating philosophical ideas with purposeful educational practice for the effective training of social workers who are able to adapt to various social challenges and contribute to the harmonization of social processes. It also outlines the personality of a social worker and the ways of forming his social and communicative skills, including structured training, self-study and practical experience. The personality of a social worker is outlined and his main components of social and communicative skills are identified: the ability to listen and understand the client’s problem; awareness, education, empathy, emotional intelligence; the ability to simply explain complex things; dispute resolution skills; cultural competence and tolerance; reflexivity and the ability to self- criticism. It also suggests ways of forming the social and communicative skills of a social worker: structured training and education, self-study and self-development, practical activity. The text emphasizes the importance of continuous learning and self-improvement to maintain a high level of professional competence. Furthermore, the article emphasizes the value of specialized educational activities, such as curricula and courses on intercultural communication and ethics, in the training of social workers. The conclusion indicates the need for a holistic approach that combines philosophical and educational principles with practical methods to create an environment that promotes personal development based on values and ethical considerations. It is also emphasized that the philosophical and educational approach to the formation of social and communicative skills opens up wide opportunities for personal and professional growth for the social worker, as it helps to master the methods of effective communication, develop inner sensitivity, empathy and critical thinking, which is the key to high-quality social work.
