Abstract

This work analyzes the problem of low efficiency in finding interlocutors based on interests in messengers. It has been established that this is largely due to unstructured user queries and the lack of consideration of their communicative and cognitive characteristics. A classification of queries is proposed, taking into account the topic, motivation, level of knowledge, and communication style. Psychological and professional types of users are also considered, which significantly affect the quality and duration of online communication.Based on the classification and individual characteristics of the addressee, a query model is developed that combines the semantics of the request with the personality traits of the user. A method for forming a query is proposed, which includes four stages: (1) identifying the type of query; (2) determining the characteristics of the addressee; (3) forming the query as a tuple <customer, query>; (4) transmitting the query to a search program with metadata. To test the method, a Telegram bot was created that implements all stages. Experimental results (400 queries, 63 % successful communications, and an average interlocutor selection time of 11.4 seconds) confirm the effectiveness of the proposed approach.Additionally, the influence of various query parameters on search results was analyzed, including message length, specificity of interests, and consideration of the user’s emotional state. It was found that integrating cognitive characteristics and communication style significantly improves the relevance of interlocutor selection. The results of the study can be used to develop more intelligent communication systems in messengers, social platforms, and online educational services, where speed and accuracy in selecting interlocutors with consideration of individual user characteristics are important.Furthermore, the adaptability of the proposed approach to different cultural and linguistic contexts is emphasized, expanding its practical application.
