ASSESSMENT OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC SECURITY OF AN ENTERPRISE

Abstract

The article considers the importance of assessing the socio-economic security of an enterprise as an element of its provision for creating conditions for effective activity and stable development of an enterprise. Approaches to assessing the socio-economic security of an enterprise are considered. The growing importance of the social aspect of enterprise security and its assessment is indicated. The expediency of using a graph-analytical method for assessing the socio-economic security of an enterprise is indicated, which allows a visual presentation of analytical calculations, which is the basis for making informed management decisions. An adapted graph-analytical model for assessing the socio-economic security of an enterprise is proposed, which allows assessing security by vectors: operational security, social security, technical and technological security, financial security. Indicators for each group are selected in such a way that for their calculation it was possible to obtain information from open sources, in particular, from the financial statements of the enterprise. The indicators characterize the state, dynamics, efficiency of use of enterprise resources, absolute size and dynamics of activity results, financial stability of the enterprise. Social security is singled out as a resource component and as a direction to achieve the goal – sustainable development of the enterprise. The use of this model allows assessing the socio-economic security of the enterprise in dynamics and in comparison with other market entities. The indicators are formed in such a way that it is possible to compare them at the industry, regional level based on statistical information of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine. The model provides the determination of an integral indicator of the socio-economic security of the enterprise. An assessment of socio-economic security was carried out according to the proposed model of a dairy processing enterprise in dynamics and as a member of a group of companies.
