Abstract

The economic globalization and its effects on the activities of enterprises in the real sector of the economy do not cease to interest numerous researchers, organizers of production and businessmen. At the same time, it turns out that the nature of this phenomenon does not have an unambiguous interpretation, and therefore the results of its analysis often look distorted. For this reason, there was a need to summarize the views of our predecessors, important facts of world history and present our own vision of the content of globalization. It is emphasized that it is a system of economic relations that arise between all parties interested in solving urgent problems. The article provides a list of those that are most relevant today. Sometimes they acquire an interstate, transcontinental or even planetary scale. It is revealed that globalization appears before economic agents in two guises: business globalization and regulatory globalization. The latter is the prerogative of international organizations and industrial alliances, which, based on the results of their work, create an institutional basis for the development and implementation of projects for creating values and establishing supply chains. The circle of subjects that in one way or another are involved in economic globalization is outlined. In addition, plausible economic strategies are highlighted that will help take advantage of the fruits of globalization during the post-war revitalization of Ukrainian industry. It was emphasized that the continuation of the research should be to find out how changes in the global division of labor between key players in the international shipbuilding market will affect its enterprises. The risks that economic globalization poses for domestic enterprises are outlined. The proposals are important for all those who are concerned about the post-war revival of shipbuilding. These include making decisions in favor of reducing the weight of the structure, which results in fuel savings, monitoring consumption and reducing water and energy waste at each stage of the production process. It is worth remembering about supply chains oriented towards sustainable development, the use of environmentally friendly and recyclable materials. The requirements of the «New Circular Economy Action Plan for a Cleaner and More Competitive Europe» are at the heart of these decisions.
