MONITORING OF THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION IN THE CONDITIONS DISTANCE EDUCATION

The article “Monitoring the quality of education in distance learning” by Tkach V. O., Voitovych O. A. is devoted to the problem of monitoring the quality of higher education. The quality of education is of great importance in ensuring the competitiveness of graduates in employment, both in Ukraine and abroad. The presentation of the quality of education is as a complex of characteristics of competencies and professional awareness that reflect the ability of a specialist to carry out professional activities. The purpose of the study is to monitor the quality of education of students of engineering and technical specialties in conditions of distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic and during martial law. The work states that the main function of education, as is known, is the transfer from generation to generation of experience accumulated by mankind; in conditions of distance learning, an important task is to enrich the content of education in accordance with the requirements of modernity. The work analyzed: the quality of student training – determination of students’ preparedness – the level of formation of key competencies; the quality of the educational process is a balanced compliance of a certain educational level with numerous needs, goals, conditions, approved educational and professional programs according to specialty standards. According to the results of the research, it was found that distance learning requires constant communication with higher education applicants, full distance learning worsens its results. The results of independent assessments best show the quality of training of applicants for engineering and technical specialties, which depends on the key competencies acquired in general education institutions.
