MANAGEMENT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE RECREATION AND TOURISM SPHERE IN CONDITIONS OF UNCERTAINTY

Abstract

Recreational and tourist activities are considered in the work as a sphere of the economy that contributes to increasing the country's competitiveness. Recreational and tourist activities develop local business and infrastructure, create jobs. The research shows that the concept of sustainable development has now been integrated into every sphere of the country's socio-economic development. As for recreation and tourism, sustainable development plays an important role in preserving and sustaining recreation and tourism for future generations, without harming the surrounding natural environment, the interests of tourists and recreationists, local residents and stakeholders. Issues related to recreational tourism business and sustainable development are considered, such as the impact of recreational tourism activities on the natural environment, socio-cultural consequences, uneven distribution of benefits from tourism, lack of conscious consumption and cultural understanding, instability and seasonality. The sustainable development of recreation and tourism is a popular trend in the modern development of recreational and tourist activities and various forms of tourism. The results of the study indicate that the sustainable development of recreational and tourist activities affects the development of the economy, society and the surrounding natural environment. The relationship between sustainable development and recreation and tourism activities is key to the successful development of recreation and tourism. The work examines the problems of the recreation and tourism sphere in Ukraine in conditions of uncertainty. Currently, the development of domestic tourism in Ukraine and the example of countries that were or were affected by war will help the recreation and tourism sector to survive. The recreation and tourism sphere will feel the consequences of the war for many years after the end of hostilities. But, despite all the difficulties and challenges, the recreation and tourism business, as an important branch of the Ukrainian economy, adapts to the war and continues to work.
